South Korea’s KAI rolls out first production KF-21 fighter jet

The Korean government plans for KAI to start deliveries of production aircraft to the Republic of Korea Air Force in the second half of the year.
“We will do our best to strengthen defense industry cooperation with Indonesia in various areas such as submarines, firepower, and air defense systems, and expand cooperation to the entire Southeast Asia region in the future,” DAPA Minister Seok Jong-gun said in an announcement.
In addition, South Korea will buy four new frigates and create a new air-to-air missile; all told, the three projects will represent roughly $4 billion in investments.
